Very nice theme, it’s simple yet looks very sleek.
[Reply]cheers
[Reply]Love the progression with the theme! Esp, the day and night contrasts. Awesome work. Very Very awesome work.
[Reply]oh so u notice, its a nifty client-side features. wait for RC2
[Reply]Yup. I’ve been following your theme for a couple of months now…I kinda became stalkerish towards your work already.lol
I’m looking forward to it already, esp. having seen the updates you put regularly on google code.:)
LOL. I’m a harmless stalker so don’t worry.xD
I just got on RC2 earlier today. I’m on WP 2.6.5 now and it seems that the gravatar still ceases to work. I also tried the GD font header thing, I uploaded a couple of ttf fonts but they don’t work either. Are there specific font sets/types that must be used? And I’m just baffled why the gravatar doesn’t work. Do I need to install it manually?
LOL. Sorry for turning your comments section into a support section for your theme. Thanks in advance though, I appreciate it (and all your awesome work…gah).^^
[Reply]I’d update the doc check out http://wp.istalker.net/chrome-milk/quick-start#changing-file-permissions
[Reply]Hi Avice, great theme, advanced, love it. What’s the deal with the comment post numbering thing? The comment post guidelines with the 0%? Thankyou for this gem!
[Reply]Hi Avice, whats the optimal way to get post thumbnails in istalker? And do you recommend using the excert or . Thanks again.
[Reply]There is post-thumbnail and advanced image cropper with previous iStalker theme but I’d to removed this features because of license conflict. Maybe on next milestone.
[Reply]Hi again Avice. Sorry for coming at ya with questions. Sure your busy! Can you check this image please and let me know what you think? On Flickr. Thanks.
[Reply]FYI, there is background-color when you hover over all links inside post you can used “thumb-” CSS class to remove the hover effect over image.
[Reply]I changed the permissions of the /public/cache folder to 777. Still didn’t work. I then changed the whole wp-istalker-theme (with -R) to 777. Both gravatars and the GD font still didn’t work. I’m baffled. Maybe it’s an issue with the compatibility to WP 2.6.5? I doubt it though since I think your blog here is on 2.7 beta already, it should’ve worked.:O
[Reply]I am using WP 2.7 beta 3, my Gravatars and GD font are working fine?
[Reply]I upgraded to WP 2.7 Beta 3. Still the same. The cache files are being detected in the theme options, permissions set to 777, both avatar images and my font—still not being fetched/displayed on my page.
Avice,thanks tons for putting up with me.^^;
Oh yeah. Even after enabling the Sidebar Widgets in the theme options they too won’t display.
[Reply]I can only assume that these are plugin conflict as all the generated images file is already cached inside the public cached folder and the embed CSS (WPI used CSS for gravatar and the blog-heading) has valid URI to the sources.
[Reply]I’m currently migrating my blog on my other webhost. I’ll do a fresh install of WP 2.7 beta 3 with basically zero plugins. Will report back within 24 hours.
[Reply]It works now! GD Font and gravatars are A-OK! My only problem now is that I can’t seem to make the “Sidebar Widgets” that are included in the theme to work.D:
[Reply]This theme is sooooo beautiful. Wow!
[Reply]*straightens herself. She takes a knife from her side and inspects it. Then she looks at Jim’s FeebleSaint. Satisfied, She puts the knife back and walks over to Jim.
He stands there briefly, who is still unaware of her presence.*
Jim, I’m glad you like the iStalker theme.
